Chelation and heavy metal detox are intended for people with documented or suspected exposure, environmental or occupational exposure concerns, or a clinician-directed detox plan. Symptoms alone can’t confirm toxic exposure, so a qualified healthcare professional determines eligibility after reviewing your history.

What happens before a detox IV?
Your first visit starts with a consultation that may review your health history, current medications, exposure history, goals and any relevant lab results, plus whether IV therapy is suitable for you. Treatment is then given in a professionally supervised session at our Lee’s Summit clinic.
How long does a detox or ozone IV take?
Most detox and ozone IV appointments take 30 to 60 minutes, and every first-time guest gets a brief medical screening that takes just a few minutes. The Detoxed Quickshot takes 15 minutes or less, and an infrared sauna session adds 30 minutes to your visit.
Who administers detox and ozone IV therapy?
IVs are placed and monitored by experienced IV nurses, with clinical oversight from our Medical Director, P. Douglas Young. Your care team reviews your health history and medications first and recommends the approach that fits your assessment, clinical needs and wellness goals.
